We have chest-cold germs. We have sinus infection germs. (Those are both mine.) And now we have 24-hour flu germs. (Devin’s.) I’m just hoping Scott was able to ward them off.
Now that I’m antibiotics, I feel tons better. But the kiddo has such a cough and he’s not quite as energetic as normal. What astounds me about kids, though, is how easily they handle illnesses. He did wake up crying last night when his fever hit, but a few hours later he threw up and then he was A-OK. At 4:30 in the morning, he wanted to play with his cars and watch “Finding Nemo” for the fifteenth time.
The sickness makes me a bit crazy, I admit. For the first time in my life, I’ve been committed to a gym routine and I’ve been making progress. So being away for two weeks? Not happy making.
Since I couldn’t do anything about it, I turned my energies to reading and completing, FINALLY, Devin’s lifebook. I uploaded it to Blurb last night and I can’t wait to get it in the mail. I think I may even get started on another one. The silver lining in this germy cloud.
Oh my gosh – that Blurb thing is so cool. I am going to have to make one!!!
