Back from vacation for two days and I end up in the hospital. Let’s just say this hasn’t been my week. Bacteria that got into my blood from a procedure put me through a lot of pain and suffering. It’s an experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
I’ve always had a fear of hospitals, so when the ER doc told me they were admitting me, I was a bit freaked out. When I ended up being there longer than the initial 12-hour estimate, I was even more freaked out. Especially considering the fact that my arms now look like those of a junkie and I had to endure three days straight of Little House on the Prairie, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Matlock and Perry Mason (courtesy of my roommate). It’s not a place I’m going to miss.
I hope you’re feeling better now and everything is going to be back to normal as soon as possible. I can understand your fear of ER’s I am not a fan of them either especially when things start to take them longer than they had predicted. ewwww.
